NFL: Buffalo 17, Minnesota 12

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y., Oct. 1 (UPI) -- J.P. Losman passed for 222 yards and one touchdown Sunday as Buffalo beat the Minnesota Vikings, 17-12.

Losman completed 23 of his 32 passes and did not throw an interception; Willis McGahee rushed for one touchdown on 28 carries for 78 yards; Lee Evans made seven receptions for 90 yards; Peerless Price caught a scoring pass; and Rian Lindell kicked a 28-yard field goal for the Bills (2-2).

Brad Johnson was 25-of-44 for 267 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions; Marcus Robinson had one touchdown on five receptions for 78 yards; Chester Taylor was held to 23 yards on 10 carries; and Ryan Longwell kicked two field goals for the Vikings (2-2).

Minnesota had a chance to win the game with under a minute left, but Johnson overthrew Robinson on what would have been an easy touchdown.
