MLB: Cincinnati 5, Pittsburgh 2

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Rich Aurilia hit a two-run homer and had three RBI Friday night as Cincinnati beat Pittsburgh, 5-2.

Juan Castro hit an RBI single and scored a run on a wild pitch by Pittsburgh's Brian Rogers in the top of the eighth inning for the Reds (80-80), who have won five of their last six games.

Winner Aaron Harang (16-11) went the distance, giving up two runs and eight hits with no walks and nine strikeouts.

Ronny Paulino hit an RBI single; Jack Wilson hit a sacrifice fly; Chris Duffy had three hits; while Freddy Sanchez had a run and two hits for the Pirates (65-95), whose losing streak grew to eight games.

The loser was Zach Duke (10-15).

Cincinnati leads the season series, 9-5.
