MLB: L.A. Dodgers 19, Colorado 11

DENVER, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- James Loney hit two homers and drove in nine runs Thursday afternoon as the Los Angeles Dodgers outscored Colorado, 19-11.

Loney had four hits, including a grand slam; Kenny Lofton and Marlon Anderson both hit solo homers; Wilson Betemit had three RBI; Jeff Kent, J.D. Drew, and Russell Martin all scored three times; and Lofton, Betemit, Drew, and Martin each had two hits for the Dodgers (85-74), who have a four-game winning streak.

The winner was Mark Hendrickson (2-7).

Matt Holliday belted a three-run homer; Garrett Atkins had two hits and two RBI; while Todd Helton; Vinny Castilla; Ryan Spilborghs; and Troy Tulowitzki each had one RBI for the Rockies (74-85), who have dropped three games in a row and split their last 10 games.

The losing pitcher was Ray King (1-4).
