
FORT WORTH, Texas, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- John Beck passed for 321 yards and three touchdowns Thursday night as Brigham Young upset No. 15 TCU, 31-17.
The Horned Frogs' loss ended the nation's longest winning streak at 13 games.
Beck completed 23 of 37 passes and had no interceptions; Curtis Brown gained 56 yards on 16 carries; Michael Reed had four receptions for 69 yards and one touchdown; and Manase Tonga ran for one touchdown for the Cougars (3-2).
Jeff Ballard was 26-of-50 for 303 yards, one touchdown and one interception and added 63 yards on 11 rushing attempts; Donald Massey caught nine passes for 95 yards; Aaron Brown had a touchdown on 10 carries for 49 yards; Brent Hecht caught a touchdown pass; and Chris Manfredini was 1-for-2 on field goal tries for the Horned Frogs (3-1).
