SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Moises Alou belted a two-run homer with one out in the bottom of the ninth to give the San Francisco Giants a 4-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
With the Giants eliminated from post-season play on Monday slugger Barry Bonds took the night off, but Alou got his 22nd roundtripper of the season.

Mike Stanton improved to 7-6 with the victory.
Arizona starter Brandon Webb threw 85 pitches through eight innings and was lifted for Brandon Lyon, who gave up the home run to Alou.
