
NEW YORK, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Jason Giambi, Jorge Posada and Robinson Cano all had four RBI Wednesday night as the New York Yankees trounced Baltimore, 16-5.
Giambi, Posada, Bobby Abreu, and Robinson Cano hit home runs; Cano also hit a sacrifice fly; Hideki Matsui hit an RBI ground out; Giambi had three hits; while Posada; Matsui, Bobby Abreu, and Alex Rodriguez each had two hits; and Rodriguez, Johnny Damon, and Bernie Williams all had one RBI for the Yankees (96-62), who have six wins their last 10 games.
Winner Chien Ming-Wang (19-6) gave up four runs and 10 hits in six innings.
Melvin Mora had three hits and two RBI; Miguel Tejada, Kevin Millar, and David Newhan each had one RBI; Mora had three hits; while Newhan and Ramon Hernandez both had two hits for the Orioles (68-90), who have a three-game losing streak.
Losing pitcher Kris Benson gave up eight runs and eight hits in 2 2/3 innings.
