USC receiver out with shoulder injury

Published: Sept. 25, 2006 at 11:02 PM

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Southern California wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett will be sidelined two to four weeks with a left shoulder sprain.

X-rays taken on Sunday revealed there was no further damage but Jarrett is doubtful to play this week against Washington State.

The 6-foot-5 junior suffered the injury after diving for a pass attempt in Saturday's 20-3 win over Arizona.

Jarrett leads USC with 20 catches for 207 yards and three touchdowns.
