NFL: N.Y. Jets 28, Buffalo 20

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y., Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Chad Pennington passed for 183 yards and one touchdown Sunday afternoon as the New York Jets beat Buffalo, 28-20.

Pennington was 19-of-29 and had no interceptions. Kevan Barlow rushed for 31 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries and Cedric Houston ran for one score for New York.

Laveranues Coles caught 10 passes for 78 yards, Chris Baker caught a touchdown pass, and Victor Hobson returned a fumble for a 32-yard touchdown in the third quarter for the Jets (2-1).

J.P. Losman was 22-of-38 for 328 yards and one touchdown, and ran for a touchdown. He also threw an interception and lost two fumbles. Lee Evans had eight receptions for 107 yards, Roscoe Parrish had four receptions for 104 yards and one touchdown, and Willis McGahee gained 150 yards on 26 carries for the Bills (1-2).
