MLB: Tampa Bay 11, N.Y. Yankees 4

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Carl Crawford and Ty Wigginton each drove in three runs and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays used two big innings Sunday to beat the New York Yankees, 11-4.

The Devil Rays scored six runs in the fourth and five runs in the sixth.

Crawford also scored a run and finished with three hits, and Wigginton scored a run and finished with two hits, including a solo home run. Ben Zobrist had two hits and two RBI, and B.J. Upton had one RBI for the Devil Rays (60-95), who have won three of their last four games.

In 5 1/3 innings, winner Brian Stokes (1-0) surrendered three runs and seven hits.

Robinson Cano hit a solo home run, Hideki Matsui hit a sacrifice fly and had two runs and two hits, Derek Jeter hit an RBI single, and Kevin Thompson hit an RBI double for the Yankees (93-62).

The loser was Mike Mussina (14-7).
