GREENVILLE, N.C., Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Patrick White passed for two touchdowns and ran for another Saturday to lead the fourth-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers to a 27-10 win over East Carolina.
White completed 17-of-24 passes for 216 yards and rushed for 39 yards but was also intercepted three times. The Mountaineers (4-0) have won 11 straight games.

Steve Slaton added 80 yards on the ground while Darius Reynaud caught five passes for 110 yards and a touchdown, as West Virginia improved to 12-0 in its last 12 games played in September.
James Pinkney completed 20-of-40 passes for 247 yards with a touchdown and an interception for the Pirates (1-3).
