TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Antone Smith rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to help the 17th-ranked Florida State Seminoles crush the Rice Owls, 55-7.

Xavier Lee completed 5-of-11 passes for 111 yards with a touchdown and Drew Weatherford 8-of-12 passes for 102 yards and a TD for the Seminoles (3-1).

Lorenzo Booker rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown; Joe Surratt added a pair of touchdowns on two carries for three yards; and Greg Carr caught five passes for 107 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Joel Armstrong completed 9-of-24 passes for 128 yards and one touchdown and one interception for the winless Owls (0-4). Quinton Smith rushed for 104 yards on 16 carries, and Jarett Dillard caught seven passes for 113 yards and one touchdown.
