MLB: Florida 6, N.Y. Mets 3

NEW YORK, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Winning pitcher Dontrelle Willis hit two homers and drove in three runs Wednesday night as Florida beat the New York Mets, 6-3.

Matt Treanor and Hanley Ramirez both had one RBI; a run scored on a wild pitch by reliever Roberto Hernandez; Willis had three hits; and Treanor and Josh Willingham each had two hits for the Marlins (75-77), who broke a four-game losing streak.

In 8 1/3 innings, Willis (12-11) yielded three runs and seven hits with three walks and four strikeouts.

Joe Borowski recorded his 35th save.

Paul Lo Duca, Carlos Delgado and Jose Valentin all had one RBI, Lo Duca had three hits, and Jose Reyes had two runs and two hits for the Mets (92-59), who have split their last four games.

Losing pitcher Oliver Perez (3-12) surrendered three runs and five hits in 5 1/3 innings with three walks and six strikeouts.
