PITTSBURGH, Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Pittsburgh police said Tuesday they have arrested one teenager and are searching for another for the shootings of five Duquesne University basketball players.

The players hurt in the Sunday shootings were sophomore Aaron Jackson and juniors Sam Ashaolu, Stuard Baldonado, Shawn James and Kojo Mensah. Ashaolu remains in critical condition at Mercy Hospital.

Brandon Baynes, 18, of Penn Hills, Pa., was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, carrying a firearm without a license and criminal conspiracy.

Police have an arrest warrant out for William Holmes, 18, also of Penn Hills. Police allege he's the second gunman in this case and is considered to be armed and extremely dangerous.

Police also reportedly arrested 19-year-old Duquesne sophomore Brittany Jones, who is an alleged associate of Baynes. She was charged with reckless endangerment, carrying a firearm without a license and criminal conspiracy.

James, the nation's leading shot-blocker last season, transferred from Northeastern University.
