NFL: N.Y. Giants 30, Philadelphia 24 (OT)

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Eli Manning threw a 31-yard TD pass to Plaxico Burress in overtime Sunday as the New York Giants overcame a 17-point deficit to beat Philadelphia, 30-24.

Manning was 31-of-43 for 371 yards with three touchdown passes and an interception for New York (1-1).

Amani Toomer caught two of the touchdown tosses and finished with 137 yards on 12 receptions, while Burress had six catches for 114 yards.

Donovan McNabb went 27-of-45 for 350 yards with a pair of touchdown passes for the Eagles (1-1). Philadelphia amassed more than 300 yards in the first half and outplayed its opponent for three quarters.

L.J. Smith had seven catches for 111 yards, and Donte Stallworth had five for 81 yards and one touchdown.
