ATLANTA, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Marcus Giles' two-run single in the bottom of the 10th capped a big final inning Sunday as Atlanta rallied for five runs in its last at-bat to beat Florida, 8-7.

The Marlins scored four times in the top of the wild 10th inning.

Joe Borowski (3-3) yielded a one-out double to Brian McCann, then Jeff Francoeur singled to put runners at second and third. Matt Diaz's double brought Atlanta within 7-5 and Willy Aybar's single moved Diaz to third.

Brayan Pena grounded to Dan Uggla at second, but Hanley Ramirez could not handle his throw for the force out and Diaz scored to pull the Braves within one run.

Giles then singled to left, scoring Aybar and Pena as left fielder Josh Willingham had trouble fielding the base hit.

Braves reliever Kevin Berry got one out to improve to 1-1.
