HUNT VALLEY, Md., Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Don Pooley shot an 8-under 64 Saturday to take a one-stroke lead after the second round of the Constellation Energy Classic at Hunt Valley, Md.
Pooley carries a 10-under-par 134 into Sunday's final round.
Massy Kuramoto made a 14-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole Saturday for a 5-under 67. He finished 36 holes at 135 and is tied for second with Keith Fergus, who shot a 66 in round two.
Andy Bean established a course record Saturday with a 9-under 63. He is tied for fourth with Jay Haas (67), Hajime Meshiai (68), Tom Jenkins (68) and Brad Bryant (68) at 136.
The first round was completed Saturday morning after inclement weather forced the suspension of play Friday. They teed off in threesomes off split tees in round two, and with no rain scheduled for Sunday, the tournament seems set to finish on time.
