COL FB: TCU 12, Texas Tech 3

FORT WORTH, Texas, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Chris Manfredini kicked field goals in every period Saturday as No. 20 TCU beat No. 22 Texas Tech, 12-3, to extend its winning streak to 13 games.

Jeff Ballard completed 13-of-23 passes for 101 yards for TCU (3-0). Aaron Brown rushed for 72 yards on 18 carries, while Detrick James got 45 yards on 12 attempts.

Graham Harrell completed 23-of-47 passes for 204 yards for the Red Raiders (2-1), who had a modest two-game winning streak halted. Shannon Woods rushed for 52 yards on 10 carries, while Robert Johnson caught seven passes for 67 yards.

TCU's streak is the longest current winning streak in the nation.
