CRANS MONTANA, Switzerland, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Bradley Dredge of Wales won by a record eight shots Sunday at the European Tour's European Masters Golf Tournament at Crans Montana, Switzerland.
Dredge shot 4-under 67 after birdies on the first three holes in the final round. His four-round total was 17-under 267.
"I'm over the moon," Dredge said. "I have won again. The win has been a bit overdue and is a reward for my patience."
His last tournament title came at Madeira Island Open in Portugal in 2003.
Francesco Molinari (69) of Italy and Germany's Marcel Siem (73), who was a co-leader after the second round on Friday, tied for second at 9-under 275.
Marc Warren (67) of Scotland, Denmark's Soren Kjeldsen (70) and 2005 champion Sergio Garcia (71) of Spain tied for fourth at 8-under 276.
Five players, including second-round leader Martin Erlandsson of Sweden, tied for seventh at 7-under 277.
