COL FB: Oklahoma 37, Washington 20

NORMAN, Okla., Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Adrian Peterson rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead the 10th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners to a 37-20 victory over the Washington Huskies.

Paul Thompson passed for 272 yards on 21-of-33 passing with two touchdowns. Malcolm Kelly caught both touchdowns passes and had six receptions for 121 yards for the Sooners (2-0), who have won their last seven home games.

Louis Rankin ran for 112 yards on 17 carries while Isaiah Stanback struggled to a 9-for-22 finish and 139 yards through the air for the Huskies (1-1).
