COL FB: Michigan 41, Central Michigan 17

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Mike Hart ran for 116 yards and three touchdowns Saturday to lead the 13th-ranked Michigan Wolverines to a 41-17 victory over Central Michigan.

Kevin Grady also scored on the ground for the Wolverines (2-0), who out-rushed Central Michigan 252-16. Michigan has won all three meetings against CMU, and improved to 21-0 all-time against teams from the Mid-American Conference.

The Wolverines will have their first big test next week on the road against fifth-ranked Notre Dame.

Dan LeFevour threw for 153 yards and two touchdowns for Central Michigan (0-2), which lost by just seven last week against Boston College.
