MLB: Cleveland 6, Texas 5

ARLINGTON, Texas, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Kevin Kouzmanoff hit his first career grand slam homer Saturday night to help Cleveland beat Texas, 6-5, for its fifth straight victory.

Grady Sizemore hit a solo home run and had two runs and two hits; while Victor Martinez had two hits and a sacrifice fly for the Indians (65-69), who have won eight of their last 10 games.

Winner Cliff Lee (11-10) gave up four runs and seven hits in seven innings with one walk and four strikeouts.

Tom Mastny recorded his fifth save.

Ian Kinsler hit a two-run single and had a run and three hits; Nelson Cruz had a hit and an RBI; while Gary Matthews, Jr. had two hits and two RBI for the Rangers (69-68), who have dropped their last two games.

In 1 2/3 innings, losing pitcher Edinson Volquez (1-4) yielded six runs and five hits.
