EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Eli Manning completed 10-of-20 passes for 107 yards Friday night as the New York Giants beat the New York Jets, 13-7, in an NFL pre-season game.
Manning had one interception and no touchdown passes.
Tiki Barber ran for 60 yards on 11 carries, James Sims added 45 yards on 12 rushes, and Tim Carter had four catches for 34 yards for the Giants (3-0), who can end their pre-season at 4-0 after Thursday's game against New England.
Chad Pennington went 11-for-20, passing for 125 yards, no touchdowns and one interception. Derrick Blaylock rushed for 35 yards on nine carries, and Laveranues Coles and Justin McCareins combined to make seven receptions for 98 yards for the Jets (1-2).
Running back Kevan Barlow, acquired from San Francisco this week, rushed for 11 yards on three carries and had a fumble.
