NFL: Indianapolis 27, New Orleans 14

JACKSON, Miss., Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Peyton Manning threw for 165 yards and a touchdown Saturday to lead the Indianapolis Colts to a 27-14 preseason win over New Orleans.

Dominic Rhodes rushed seven times for 21 yards, while Joseph Addai -- the Colts' 2006 first round pick who is competing with Rhodes for the starting tailback position -- ran for 12 yards and a touchdown.

Reggie Wayne caught six passes for 47 yards and a touchdown and tight end Dallas Clark had three catches for 66 yards.

Drew Brees passed for 189 yards for New Orleans, but the former Pro Bowl quarterback threw two interceptions and no touchdowns. Deuce McAllister rushed six times for 62 yards and a touchdown, while Reggie Bush, the second overall pick in this year's draft, rushed for 22 yards and caught five passes for 20 yards.
