BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Dasan Robinson scored the game's only goal Saturday to give the Chicago Fire their third straight MLS victory, 1-0, over the Colorado Rapids.

Chicago won for the second time in five days after eliminating the Revolution in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals Tuesday night, to advance to the semifinals.

The Rapids had a season-high three-game unbeaten streak halted.

Robinson got his first MLS goal in the 12th minute when he was able to get his head on a Chris Armas cross.

Zach Thornton made four saves en route to the shutout, while Joe Cannon stopped 10 shots for the Rapids.
