Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- A three-team NFL trade has sent Atlanta running back T.J. Duckett to the Washington Redskins, who will send a draft pick to Denver.
The Broncos have sent wide receiver Ashley Lelie to Atlanta, the Washington Post reported quoting sources with knowledge of the situation.
Duckett, 25, is expected to bolster the Redskins' depth at running back while Clinton Portis recovers from a shoulder injury.
The Broncos and the Redskins are working on the draft pick with a third-round pick the most likely, the report said. The teams would also end up swapping picks in other rounds.
