MLS: D.C. United 1, Colorado 1 (draw)

WASHINGTON, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Kyle Beckerman gave Colorado an early lead, but D.C. United tied it in the second half Saturday en route to a 1-1 draw.

Christian Gomez scored the tying goal for United, who earned their league-high 47th point even though they are winless in their last four matches.

Beckerman recorded his fifth goal of the season for the Rapids.

D.C. moved its record on the season to 13-2-8, while Colorado is 9-8-5.
