Earnhardt Jr. wins Busch at Michigan track

BROOKLYN, Mich., Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. spun Carl Edwards out with two laps remaining Saturday to win the Carfax 250 at the Michigan International Speedway.

Earnhardt, finishing under a caution flag ahead of runner-up Casey Mears, earned his second victory of the season and the 22nd his Busch career.

Mark Martin was on the pole after a short rain delay.

The next race in the series is set for Friday, Aug. 25 at the Bristol Motor Speedway.
