MLB: Florida 15, LA Dodgers 4

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Miguel Cabrera hit two homers and knocked in five runs Wednesday afternoon as Florida trounced the Los Angeles Dodgers, 15-4.

Wes Helms hit a solo home run; Cabrera had three runs and three hits; Helms had three runs, two hits and two RBI; Cody Ross had one run, two hits and four RBI; Dan Uggla had three runs and two hits; Reggie Abercrombie hit a two-run double; Hanley Ramirez had two hits and one RBI; while Josh Willingham had two runs and two hits for the Marlins (56-64), who have split their last six games.

Winner Josh Johnson (11-6) yielded six hits and four runs in six innings.

Jeff Kent had a run, two hits and three RBI; Wilson Betemit had two hits and one RBI; and J.D. Drew had two runs and one hit for the Dodgers (64-57), who had a six-game winning streak broken.

The loser was Mark Hendrickson (1-5).
