
CLEVELAND, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Travis Hafner had two hits and four RBI Sunday afternoon as Cleveland routed Kansas City, 13-0, completing a four-game sweep.
Hafner hit a grand slam in the Indians' 11-run first inning and also scored twice.
Franklin Gutierrez and Ryan Garko added solo homers; Andy Marte, Victor Martinez and Shin-Soo Choo all had two RBI for the Indians (53-64), who have won six games in a row.
Hafner, who drove in the winning runs in both games of Saturday's doubleheader, ran his RBI total to 104 for the season.
In six innings, winner Jeremy Sowers (4-3) gave up five hits, walked one and struck out two.
David DeJesus and Esteban German combined for five of the seven hits for the Royals (41-77), who had a three-game winning streak before the sweep.
Loser Luke Hudson (5-4) surrendered 11 runs and eight hits in 1/3 of an inning.
