LONDON, Ontario, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- After a 2-under 70, Angela Stanford has a two-shot lead after two rounds of the Canadian Women's Open at London, Ontario.
Stanford, who shot a tournament record 8-under 64 Thursday, is 10-under 134 going into the third round.
"I think when you're putting well or if you have confidence in your putter, you'll hit it to more conservative spots on the green because you know you're rolling it well and you can make some of those putts," Stanford said.
Jee Young Lee (70) and Cristie Kerr (70) are tied for second at 7-under 137. Lorie Kane (70) is fourth at 6-under 138.
Vicki Goetze-Ackerman (73) and Pat Hurst (71) are tied for fifth at 4-under 140. Defending champion Meena Lee (73) is tied for seventh with Sophie Gustafson (69) at 3-under 141.
Among those missing the cut were Brandie Burton and Dawn Coe-Jones.
