MLB: LA Dodgers 7, Florida 3

MIAMI, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers used a six-run sixth inning Sunday afternoon to beat Florida, 7-3, for their ninth straight win and a three-game sweep.

Toby Hall had two hits and two RBI; Olmedo Saenz, who drove in a run with a bases-loaded walk, had two hits; Wilson Betemit hit a two-run single; and Rafael Furcal had two runs and one hit for the Dodgers (56-55).

Winner Mark Hendrickson (5-12), who broke a personal five-game losing streak and earned his first win in a Dodger uniform, gave up three runs and six hits in six innings with two walks and four strikeouts.

Wes Helms, Paul Hoover and Miguel Cabrera all had one RBI; and Cabrera had two of the eight hits for the Marlins (51-60), who have dropped four of their last five games.

Losing pitcher Scott Olsen (9-5) surrendered four runs on eight hits in 6 1/3 innings.
