HOUSTON, July 29 (UPI) -- Dwayne De Rosario scored and was later ejected Saturday as the Houston Dynamo battled to a 1-1 draw with Red Bull New York.

Chris Henderson gave the Red Bulls a one-goal advantage late in the second half, but De Rosario tied the match with a penalty kick three minutes later.

De Rosario was dismissed from the match as he received a red card for pushing the Red Bulls' Danny O'Rourke. O'Rourke was also sent to the locker room after being booked with his second yellow of the night.

With the draw, the Red Bulls moved one step closer to securing the second-place spot in the MLS Eastern Conference standings, trailing the New England Revolution by only two points.

The Dynamo, second in the Western Conference, trail intrastate rival FC Dallas by seven points.
