Smashnova, Dominguez Lino reach finals

BUDAPEST, Hungary, July 29 (UPI) -- Israeli Anna Smashnova and Spaniard Lourdes Dominguez Lino advanced Saturday to the final at the Budapest Grand Prix with straight set semifinal wins.

Smashnova, seeded eighth, defeated German Martina Muller, 6-4, 6-3. Dominguez Lino beat second-seeded Michaella Krajicek, 6-3, 6-4.

Smashnova is the defending champion. She beat Catalina Castano in last year's final.
