MLB: Tampa Bay 19, N.Y. Yankees 6

NEW YORK, July 29 (UPI) -- Damon Hollins knocked in five runs Saturday afternoon to lead Tampa Bay in a 19-6 rout of the New York Yankees.

Hollins had two runs and two hits, including a three-run homer in the third inning.

Travis Lee and Johnny Gomes, who had three hits, both belted two-run homers; Jorge Cantu hit a solo shot; and Tomas Perez had four runs, five hits; and two RBI for the Devil Rays (43-61), who have split their last four games.

Winning pitcher Jae Seo (3-9) gave up five runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings with one walk and two strikeouts.

Derek Jeter and Jason Giambi hit solo home runs; Jorge Posada drove in two runs; and Alex Rodriguez had a run and two hits for the Yankees (60-41), who had a four-game winning streak snapped.

Losing pitcher Randy Johnson (11-9) was torched for nine runs and six hits in 3 1/3 innings.
