MLB: Colorado 3, San Diego 1

DENVER, July 28 (UPI) -- Byung-Hyun Kim went 7 2/3 innings for his first win since June 25, as the Colorado Rockies beat San Diego, 3-1, Friday night.

Kim (6-6) gave up one unearned run on five hits, with three walks and seven strikeouts.

Matt Holliday had two hits and two RBI, and Garret Atkins drove in the other run for the Rockies.

Dave Roberts had two hits and scored the only Padres run.

San Diego starter Clay Hensley (6-8) took the loss, yielding two runs on five hits with six walks and five strikeouts over six innings.
