MLB: San Diego 7, Los Angeles 3

LOS ANGELES, July 26 (UPI) -- Mike Cameron hit a two-run home run and Adrian Gonzalez chipped in three RBI in helping the San Diego Padres to a 7-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Cameron's third-inning home run opened the Padres' scoring and Gonzalez had a two-run double in the ninth to put the game away and help San Diego starter Chan Ho Park improve to 7-6. Los Angeles' Mark Hendrickson (4-12) took the loss, the 12th in 13 games overall for the Dodgers.

Los Angeles used single runs in the fourth and fifth innings -- the first on a Kenny Lofton home run and the other on a Rafael Furcal double to erase the deficit caused by Cameron's home run.

San Diego came back with two runs in the sixth, however, with Gonzalez doubling home Mike Piazza and scoring himself on a Park base hit for a 4-2 lead. Los Angeles got a run on a ground out in the bottom of the inning.
