John Rollins wins the B.C. Open

ENDICOTT, N.Y., July 23 (UPI) -- John Rollins won the B.C. Open Golf Tournament Sunday at Endicott, N.Y., getting his first win on the PGA Tour.

In the closing 18 holes, the 31-year-old Rollins, who is in his sixth year on the tour, shot 8-under 64 to finish at 19-under 269, one stroke better than Rob May (64).

He lost to defending champion Jason Bohn on the last hole in 2005.

Shigeki Maruyama, who shot 7-under 65 on Sunday, was third at 17-under 271.

David Branshaw (69) and Omar Uresti (64) tied for fifth place at 16-under 272.

Six players -- including third-round leader Gabriel Hjertstedt (71) and Larry Mize (68) -- tied for seventh at 15-under 273.

Bohn (66) finished in a tie for 12th place with two others at 14-under 274.
