Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., July 22 (UPI) -- Mike Magee scored the match's only goal Saturday as the New York Red Bulls posted 1-0 MLS win over the Kansas City Wizards.
The Red Bulls have a three-game winning streak to finish the weekend with 23 points and five wins on the season.
The loss was the Wizards' first under interim Coach Brian Bliss. The Wizards dumped former Coach Bob Gansler Wednesday after the team lost its sixth in a row.
Saturday's loss was the Wizards' seventh consecutive setback.
