AMERSFOORT, Netherlands, July 18 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Guillermo Coria, 2004 Olympic gold medalist Nicolas Massu and former world No. 1 Carlos Moya were first-round winners Tuesday at the Dutch Open.

Coria fought his way past Dutch favorite Robin Haase 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 and halted a five-match losing streak, which started in Barcelona back in April.

The fourth-seeded Massu, of Chile, defeated Swede Andreas Vinciguerra 7-6 (7-3), 6-3, and fifth-seeded Moya beat fellow Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-4, 7-6 (8-6).

In other seeded action, No. 6 Spaniard Alberto Martin beat countryman Albert Montanes 6-2, 6-2, and Dutchman Thiemo De Bakker beat eighth-seeded French Open quarterfinalist Julien Benneteau of France 6-3, 6-3.
