NEW YORK, July 13 (UPI) -- Lance Armstrong picked up another honor and some laughs for his somewhat crude jokes as host of the ESPY Awards ceremony.

The show, taped on Wednesday, will be broadcast Sunday night.

Armstrong's off-color jibes mostly were directed at his "new best friends," actors Jake Gyllenhaal, co-star of "Brokeback Mountain," and Matthew McConaughey, People Magazine said.

He also joked about his own battle with testicular cancer.

Armstrong collected his fourth consecutive male athlete of the year award.
