SEATTLE, July 8 (UPI) -- Jeremy Bonderman gave up one run on six hits over 8 2/3 innings Friday night, as the Detroit Tigers beat Seattle, 6-1.
Bonderman (8-4) struck out four, as the Tigers won their second straight game.

Craig Monroe had a solo homer, Magglio Ordonez had three hits and one RBI, and Marcus Thames had two RBI for Detroit.
Seattle starter Joel Pineiro (6-8) took the loss, surrendering six runs on 10 hits over 7 2/3 innings.
Raul Ibanez drove in Seattle's only run.
