CARSON, Calif., July 1 (UPI) -- Claudio Suarez scored his first two goals of the season Saturday night to lead Chivas USA over FC Dallas, 3-0.

It was the first time Suarez scored twice in a game since November 1996.

Juan Pablo Garcia collected three assists for Chivas, who pushed their unbeaten streak to six games. Chivas also moved over .500 with a 6-5-4 record.

Suarez gave Chivas a quick 2-0 edge on a pair of goals within a four-minute period starting at the 20-minute mark. Both goals came on headers directly off of corner kicks.

Jonathan Bornstein added his first career goal in the 43rd minute from 12 yards out to cap off the scoring.
