BOSTON, June 28 (UPI) -- In a draft night trade Wednesday, Boston sent forward Raef LaFrentz and guard Dan Dickau to Portland for guard Sebastian Telfair.

The Celtics also got this year's seventh overall pick, forward Theo Ratliff and a 2008 second round pick.

They used the seventh pick to draft guard Randy Foye, who averaged 20.5 points per contest for Villanova last season. He scored 23.7 points per contest in four NCAA Tournament games.

In his 10th NBA campaign last season, Ratliff averaged 4.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 55 games (19 starts).

In 30 starts, Telfair, who originally was chosen by the Trail Blazers with the 13th pick overall in the 2004 NBA Draft, had averages of 9.5 points and 3.6 assists. He has a career scoring average of 8.1 points per game as a point guard. There were reports that he had a bad attitude with Portland.
