MLB: LA Angels 5, Colorado 4

ANAHEIM, Calif., June 26 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Angels rallied for a 5-4 win over the Colorado Rockies Monday in the opener of a three-game series.

The win was sparked a by two-run double by the Angels' Mike Napoli that led to a five-run eighth inning.

Chone Figgins had two hits, an RBI and a run scored for the Angels, who now have won four of their last five games. Orlando Cabrera reached base safely in his 54th consecutive game and also scored in the victory.

Pitcher John Lackey was credited with the victory. Lackey (5-5) allowed three runs on four hits in eight innings.

Todd Helton hit a two-run homer for the Rockies, who saw their brief two-game winning streak halted.
