MLB: LA Angels 8, Arizona 2

PHOENIX, June 24 (UPI) -- Mike Napoli had three hits, two RBI and three runs scored Friday night to lead the Los Angeles Angels past Arizona, 8-2.

Maicer Izturis, who drew a bases-loaded walk in the first inning, had one hit and three RBI; and Adam Kennedy drove in two runs for the Angels (33-40), who have one win in their last four games.

Winning pitcher Ervin Santana (8-3) was charged with two runs and seven hits in six innings with two walks and six strikeouts.

Conor Jackson had two hits and one RBI; Chad Tracy had one run, one hit and one RBI; while both Johnny Estrada and Luis Gonzalez had two hits for the Diamondbacks (36-38), who have lost four in a row and 16 of their last 18 games.

Losing pitcher Enrique Gonzalez (2-1) yielded four hits and five runs in four innings.
