OMAHA, June 17 (UPI) -- The Rice Owls erupted for four run in the seventh inning Saturday to beat the Georgia Bulldogs, 6-4, in the College World Series at Omaha, Neb.
Joe Savery's two-run single highlighted the outburst.

Rice next plays the winner of Saturday night's Oregon State-Miami game on Monday. Georgia will face the Oregon State-Miami loser in a Bracket 2 elimination game Monday.
Eddie Degerman pitched 6 1/3 innings of no-hit ball and the Owls' took a 2-0 edge into the seventh, but Georgia -- with five back-to-back singles off three Rice pitchers -- also scored four runs in the seventh to take a 4-2 lead.
Savery was 3-for-3 as Rice won for the for the 38th time in 41 games this season.
