
NEW YORK, June 16 (UPI) -- Melvin Mora homered and drove in three runs Friday night as Baltimore topped the New York Mets, 6-3, snapping the Mets' eight-game win streak.
Brandon Fahey had two runs, two hits and two RBI; and Brian Roberts drove in one run for the Orioles (31-38), who broke a three-game losing streak.
In six innings, winner Erick Bedard (6-6) allowed three runs and three hits, carrying a no-hitter into the fifth. He walked three and struck out six.
Chris Ray earned his 17th save.
Jose Reyes had two hits, two RBI and two stolen bases; and Chris Woodward drove in a run for the Mets (42-24), who had only four hits in the contest.
It was the Mets' first home game following a 9-1 road trip.
In relief, the loser was Aaron Heilman (0-2).
