MLS: New York 1, Houston 1 (draw)

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., June 10 (UPI) -- The New York Red Bulls and the Houston Dynamo played to a 1-1 draw Saturday night at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

New York's Jean Philippe Peguero scored in the game's second minute, tying a team record for the fastest goal in the franchise history.

Houston's Ricardo Clark scored the equalizer in the 19th minute.

After the draw, New York (1-2-7), which is tied with Chicago for last place in the Eastern Conference standings, has only 10 points to 24 for first place DC United.

Houston (5-3-3) is second to FC Dallas in the Western Conference.

Houston has 18 points to 21 for FC Dallas, which will host Chivas USA on Sunday.

New York is at home against Los Angeles next Saturday.
