NHL: Carolina 5, Edmonton 0

RALEIGH, N.C., June 7 (UPI) -- Five different players scored goals Wednesday night as Carolina ripped the Edmonton Oilers, 5-0, in Game Two of the NHL's Stanley Cup Finals.

The goals came from Andrew Ladd, Frantisek Kaberle, Cory Stillman, Doug Weight and Mark Recchi.

Matt Cullen had three assists and goalie Cam Ward stopped all 25 shots he faced for the Hurricanes, who lead the series, two games to none. It was Ward's second shutout of the post-season.

The Oilers had 25 shots but failed to convert any of their six power play chances. Jussi Markkanen gave up five goals on 26 shots.

The series moves to Edmonton for Game Three on Saturday.
