MLB: Philadelphia 7, Arizona 3

PHILADELPHIA, June 7 (UPI) -- Jimmy Rollins hit a three-run homer Wednesday night to help Philadelphia beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 7-3, and finish a three-game sweep.

Ryan Howard hit a two-run homer; Sal Fasano had four hits -- including a solo homer --scored twice and drove in one run; and Bobby Abreu drove in one run for the Phillies (32-27).

Philadelphia has won four in a row and five of its last six games.

In 7 2/3 innings, winner Ryan Madson (6-3) yielded three runs and eight hits with no walks and three strikeouts.

Shawn Green had two hits and one RBI, Andy Green doubled and scored once, and Luis Gonzalez had two hits for the Diamondbacks (34-25), who have dropped their last three games.

Loser Dustin Nippert (0-1) gave up six runs and seven hits in five innings.

The Phillies bullpen has allowed just four earned runs in the last 35 2/3 innings.
